Win number nine for Collective Power Collective Power (7/1) has been a stalwart of Eddie Lynam's yard for several years and recorded his ninth career victory in Dundalk's BAR 1 Betting Handicap over six furlongs.  The Sole Power gelding, who carries the colours of the late Sabena Power, came from off the pace to beat the hat-trick-seeking Nikki Swango by three-parts of a length.  This was Collective Power's sixth win at Dundalk and jockey Sorcha Woods has been on board for the last three of those. Woods, who picked up a two-day careless riding ban for nudging Billy Lee's mount Rappell out of the way early in the straight, said: "He was down in grade again today. It was a heavy weight, but we were confident coming. He has been giving me grief all week at home, he's paid me back today! He's been mad well at home.  "Turning in, there was a wall of horses in front of me but I knew I had the horse to go through them. I was still hard on the bridle. He went through them well and he picked up and hit the line strong. He's been a great horse for me. "He's hard to win with because he needs a good gallop in front and you have to drop him out.  "He's not ungenuine but just when he gets there, he pricks his ears a bit. When he has a good gallop like that, he picks up well off it.  "When I saw Punk Poet was declared in it, I knew he would go forward anyway so I knew there would be some pace in it for him. Thankfully, they went a good gallop so it was good for him.  "Ninth win and nearly every time he runs he is in the money.  "The Powers have been great, they have let me ride him nearly every time he runs - thanks to them."
