Heaven’s Wish justified her short price when claiming the opening sprint maiden at Dundalk this afternoon.

The Diego Dias-trained filly had been runner-up on her last two visits to the course and went off 5/6 favourite to get her head in front this time, dropping down to five furlongs.

Colin Keane had his mount prominent throughout and asked her to hit the front passing the two pole.

The daughter of Magna Grecia kept on well in the closing stages to post a length-and-a-quarter victory over Woolridge

Dias said: "It’s well deserved. She has been second twice.

"The drop back in trip was no problem to her, she jumped well and travelled well. The trip did suit her.

"I think that is her last run. She is going to the breeding shed, we just sold the filly in the last few days. I think she might go to Arizona Blaze.

"It’s very important to get that win on the board."
