Without Love (9/2) overcame in-running traffic to gain a last-gasp success in Dundalk’s concluding Follow Us On X @DundalkStadium Handicap today, scoring for trainer Cian Hughes, owner Noel Flanagan and jockey Wesley Joyce.

Held up in rear, the 45-rated Without Parole gelding had his passage blocked two furlongs out and having then gone in pursuit of the leaders, managed to poke his head in front in the final stride to score by a neck from Doctor Grace .

Afterwards Hughes said "He likes that surface and improved a lot from two weeks ago. We gave him a spin on the beach last Sunday when he went from Laytown to Mornington and we knew he was in good form.

"He got stopped in running so did well to get up there in the end. Wes has ridden a bit of work for us recently, he is a good lad, a hard worker and comes to meets us in Skyrne or the Curragh to ride work."
