Wolverhampton and Fontwell pass inspections Friday's twilight meeting at Wolverhampton will go ahead after the track passed an 11am inspection. Snow began falling at 7.30am in the area but that petered out and the track is now fit to race. This afternoon's meeting at Fontwell will go ahead as scheduled after the track passed an 11am inspection. After checking conditions this morning, clerk of the course Ed Arkell had been concerned that the chase track would not be fit to race following rain overnight. He made provisions to run just their three hurdle races and a bumper but after checking conditions again, he is now happy for the card to go ahead in its entirety.
