Wonleg completed a double for Henry de Bromhead, as he justified 5/2 favouritism (from 5s early shows) in the Adare Manor Opportunity Handicap Chase.

A winner over flights at Roscommon in September, the Order Of St George five-year-old was a close third over the larger obstacles at Tramore on his latest start.

Racing in mid-division before taking closer order from five out, the Herding Cats Syndicate-owned victor travelled best to lead approaching the straight.

Not fluent at the last, he needed to be ridden out on the run-in to hold off the effort of Spellacy's Cross by a length-and-a-quarter.

The runner-up was returned at 11/2 under Peter Smithers for James Barcoe, while Prince Of Air (4/1) was a further 11-lengths back in third.

"That was Patrick's first ride for us. I thought he was really good and I'm delighted for him. He rides out for us one day a week," de Bromhead, who took the opener with Ma Belle Etoile reported

"Karl Casey, who is chairman at Tramore, is here today and his son Dick owns this horse with a bunch of lads. They are all in Hong Kong and I'm delighted for them. Dick is one of my best friends.

"Today was the plan, but there is a 120 or less novice chase at Tramore, so we'd love to go there if we get in."
