Zaarito among eight in Arkle

Colm Murphy's Zaarito features among eight entries for the Frank Ward Solicitors Arkle Chase at Leopardstown on Sunday.

The eight-year-old has always been held in high regard and, having chased home the classy Captain Cee Bee on his penultimate start, he gained a first win over fences with a bloodless success at Leopardstown last time out.

"We've been delighted with him since the last day and all being well he'll take his chance at the weekend," said Murphy.

"He was very good round Leopardstown last time and it's good he's got experience of the track, so hopefully he'll run well.

"I'm not sure what Denis O'Regan's plans are but hopefully if he's available he'll ride him again."

Henry de Bromhead has taken out Sizing Europe as expected but could still be represented by recent winner An Cathaoir Mor, while Willie Mullins has left in Sports Line and Lilywhitedancer.

Paul Nicholls' Take The Breeze is unbeaten in three starts over fences and looks set to make the journey from England, while Bobs Pride, Fosters Cross and Major Finnegan complete the possibles.
