Zanzibar out of Irish Oaks Zanzibar will miss the Kildangan Stud Irish Oaks at the Curragh on Sunday, trainer Michael Bell revealed today.The daughter of In The Wings ran out an easy winner of a Leicester maiden in May before capturing the Oaks d`Italia in similar fashion at San Siro later that month.However, she disappointed on fast ground in the Vodafone Oaks on her last start, finishing last of the 14 runners, and Bell has decided to give the filly more time after she worked this morning.'She did not fire this morning,' explained the trainer. 'So we have decided to give the race a miss.'The Yorkshire Oaks is on the agenda but really we want her at her peak for the Prix Vermeille at Longchamp.'
