Zeb well ahead of Tied Cottage

Colm Murphy is looking forward to running Big Zeb in Sunday's Boylesports.com Tied Cottage Chase at Punchestown.

The reigning champion chaser faces the likes of Sizing Europe and Golden Silver at the weekend but his trainer feels he is ready for a stern test.

"He seems good and seems well, we're very happy and we're delighted with the way he's progressed," Murphy told At The Races.

"We hope the run of the race works out and we're hoping for a clear round more than anything. The ground is being given as soft now and while there isn't much rain forecast, it will be testing enough but he's gone on that ground before and it shouldn't be much of a worry."

Master Minded, his main market rival for the sportingbet.com Queen Mother Champion Chase, won the Victor Chandler Chase last weekend and Murphy has plenty of respect for the former champ.

"It's hard to read much into Ascot, only Paul Nicholls and Tony McCoy will know more, but he couldn't have done any more and got the right result," Murphy observed.

"We very, very much respect him, he's a dual champion chaser, but at the same time we wouldn't swap our fellow for anything in the race."
