Zip Top set for jumping debut Jim Bolger's former classy two-year-old Zip Top is in line to make his hurdling debut for John Ferguson at Kempton on St Stephen's Day. Second in the Racing Post Trophy to Derby winner Camelot, his career was blighted by injury. Ferguson has been seeing all the right signs at home, however, and believes he has the makings of a classy hurdler ahead of the William Hill - In The App Store Novices' Hurdle. "He was a very good two-year-old for Jim Bolger, he finished second behind Camelot in the Racing Post Trophy," he told At The Races. "He disappointed in Meydan and then picked up an injury. "We've spent a fair while bringing him back and he is potentially a nice novice, but you never know until you run them whether they are going to do it once and then they feel their injury or whether they are going to be progressive. "He's working and schooling well. He could be a nice novice but I have no doubt he'll improve for whatever he does."
