Paul Nolan reports all systems go for Discorama's crack at the Randox Grand National on Saturday.

The Saddle Maker gelding finished seventh in last year's showpiece but enters the fray this time after a satisfactory warm-up second in a rated steeplechase at Fairyhouse in February in addition to a wind operation.

"Last year he went without a prep run but this year he got his prep run so there should be no excuses." Nolan said.

“If he gets as nice a passage as he did last year there is no reason why he shouldn’t go well.

“The wind op seems to be a success and he ran a nice race when second on his reappearance at Fairyhouse. He should improve from that and we couldn’t be happier with him at home.

“I think the better the ground is it will help his wind, especially over that trip.”

Discorama is a general 33/1 chance for glory in Aintree.
