ERHAAB TO STAND AT NUNNERY STUD

Derby winner Erhaab is to return to England next week and will take up stud duties for Shadwell Stud in 2001, it was announced today.

The son of Chief`s Crown, trained by John Dunlop and owned by Sheikh Hamdan Al Maktoum, won the Epsom Classic in 1994 and also captured the Dante Stakes at York in record time.

Erhaab will join Nashwan, Unfuwain, Green Desert and Muhtarram at the Nunnery Stud near Thetford in Norfolk.

Originally exported to Japan, Erhaab had been standing at Shadwell Farm in Lexington, Kentucky where the recently-retired Aljabr will take up duties.

Erhaab`s fee will be announced at a later date.
