FormscanBy Mark Nunan - Having only started racing as a seven-year-old, HANDY HEADON doesn’t have many miles on the clock for one of his age and appears to be progressing nicely for a yard that does well in this sphere. The three-time point-to-point winner was touched off over course and distance in March before going one better when making all at Down Royal last month. He can continue on an upward curve and get the better of likely market rival Er Dancer. The latter, a five-time winner in points, won a hunters’ chase at Fairyhouse in 2020 and made the frame in the Ulster National at this venue last year. He was only caught close home on his latest start under Rules at Tramore. Clounts Glory rattled up a hat-trick of point-to-point wins in the spring but was a little disappointing when fourth in a mares’ hunter chase at Cork and is now tried in cheekpieces. %0A
