FormscanBy Tom Weekes - Talking-horse ANNAMIX can win on return. Ex-French ANNAMIX has had long absences in his career (830 days absent before Irish debut) and while he seemed to be ante-post favourite for at least two Supreme Novice Hurdles, won as a third-season novice in Clonmel last year. However he showed vast improvement when routing his rivals on chase debut at Fairyhouse last January and while lockdown ended further progress, he remains an unexposed 7yo with the 11L runner-up at Fairyhouse now rated 140. Spyglass Hill can be excused his Kerry National pulled-up effort having been badly hampered. He is a proven performer who won his beginners chase at this trip but would ideally prefer a further and might also find the selection too strong. Mitchouka did well last spring and while well enough held at Cheltenham in March, did beat plenty, although he would struggle to beat smart types. Atlantic Shore won well at Wexford last month and while this is tougher, is at least proven on testing ground and at this trip.
