Initially trained by champion trainer Aidan O’Brien and rated 98 as a three-year-old, he has recently taken well to all-weather racing and being suited by today’s distance, should take all the beating under his 7lb claimer. Una Matata is similarly suited by today’s course-and-distance and while she has strong recent handicap form, is held by the selection on February form. Benavente has useful recent form and has a light weight but drops markedly in distance, which is concerning.
