The Joseph O’Brien-trained filly twice went close over this trip at Dundalk and again made the frame behind favourite Glyfada when switched to the turf at Killarney earlier this month. Justiciar ran a cracker on debut last summer when third behind Composing at the Curragh, with Hasita over three lengths behind, and is now fitted with blinkers after another solid effort earlier this month in a Curragh handicap that has already thrown up a couple of subsequent winners. Rebel Wave was far from disgraced on debut at Naas recently, while Cactus and Wearing Stars have plenty of experience.
