FormscanBy Donal Murphy - CHAMP DE GANE, who is a half-brother to a Grade 3 winner in France, gets the nod over Banks Boy and Cocoplum. Trained by Stuart Crawford, the five-year-old selection went down by just a length-and-a-half on his debut over the course and distance in May of last year. He finished seventh in a good quality Navan maiden hurdle on his most recent start and had subsequent winner Frontline Worker a place behind. Banks Boy ran a cracker on his handicap debut at Navan in January, going down by just half-a-length in a 26-runner contest. A beaten favourite on his last two outings, the son of Getaway will need to bounce back here after disappointingly pulling up on his latest start. Cocoplum has some decent form to her name and was running a fine race at Leopardstown in March until falling at the last. John McConnell saddles both Magi Gal and No Trouble. They have nine wins on the level between them and it'll be interesting to see how they fare.
