FormscanBy Donal Murphy - GUIRI might be able to take this competitive contest. The Jessica Harrington trained chestnut was a good fifth in a 24-runner contest at the Punchestown Festival, a race which he had won the previous year. Charlie O'Dwyer will again be aboard the son of Motivator and the promising young rider claims a valuable 7lb. Staging Post is an interesting contender on his handicap debut. He was successful at Wexford last summer and finished fourth in novice company on his next two starts. He may need this run, his first since last July, but looks well-treated on a mark of 109. Bravo Team is one of three Gordon Elliott trained runners in the line-up, with Jack Kennedy aboard this six-year-old gelding. A winner at Clonmel in March, he fell last time out at Kelso and is tried in cheekpieces for the first time. Don Diablo and Curlew Hill are the other Elliott representatives and they both warrant respect, returning to action after lengthy absences. Wexford runner-up Turbojet and Stuart Crawford's Curious Times are other leading hopes.
