Hurricane Alex is already an all-weather winner and while well held in five hurdle starts, was narrowly beaten here last month and can compete from a 1lb higher mark, albeit his same rider claims just 4lbs today. Guild, a well-bred six year old entire, won over CD last month and can get involved from 7lbs higher, despite his poor draw in 17. Walnut Beach has been running well in turf handicaps in recent times and while he makes his all-weather debut and is an 11-race maiden, looks the type who can progress and win races. Fallen Forest was well held over hurdles at Downpatrick but is capable at this level. Seven-time winner Pearl Of The West was well held on her latest runs.

An extended handicap for four years old and upwards rated 45-75
Weights - Top weight in the original handicap and after the time of declaration shall not be less than 10st 2lbs and the minimum weight shall not be less than 8st 6lbs
