FormscanBy John O'Riordan - HARRY'S BAR faces a stiff task under his welter burden but class may just prevail. Young Adam Caffrey, who gave the seven-year-old a textbook ride when winning over 5f here last month, has been amongst the winners of late. Excellent value for his 7lbs claim, the apprentice can record his second win on the Exceed And Excel gelding. Sister Rosetta returned to winning ways at Naas on her most recent run. Although an inconsistent filly, she is smart on her day and has won over course and distance. Arcanears could just be the dark horse of the contest, now returning to his favoured surface. The Michael Halford trained gelding has been running better than the bare form suggests on turf and is also fitted with first-time blinkers. It would be no surprise to see an improved performance.
An extended handicap for three years old and upwards (100 = 10st)Penalties - (after calculation of the handicap) A winner shall carry 7lb extra for each race won.
