FormscanBy Alan Magee - LADY ANNER looks the one to beat. The Fastnet Rock filly is a full-sister to Laganore who landed a Group 1 in Italy for Newtown Anner Stud Farm and also handled soft ground very well. The selection has stepped up since fitted with cheek-pieces on her latest two starts, and a reproduction of either of those runs at Gowran or the Curragh should be good enough. Ediyva made a pleasing debut with plenty of cut in the ground on her only juvenile outing, and the form of her reappearance at Naas earlier this month has been working out well. Darkest would be a big threat on her second to stable-companion Love Locket at Naas last autumn but has proved generally disappointing this term. Strange Times showed some promise on debut and is one to keep an eye on for the future.
