FormscanBy Mark Nunan - ASK CORY was placed a couple of times for Colin McBratney including a fair third in a handicap at Navan back in January. He’s run okay in his first two starts for Henry de Bromhead and, back in beginners’ company and with two runs under his belt after a lay-off, he should be plugging on well up the straight. The selection was a place behind Cushinstown Finest at Downpatrick and the time before at Wexford and the latter, not beaten far at all on any of her last four starts, should be thereabouts again. Twice second in handicap hurdles this summer, Pat Coyne is of interest on chase debut but fair hurdler Offshore Oscar will need to jump better than he did at Listowel. Thisonesforollie has been runner-up twice over fences, and has plenty of experience to draw upon, but needs to find a bit more to win.
