Formscan - MAGIC MARVEL (7) impressed with an easy victory on the Flat at Les Sables in October and should be fully primed for his return to hurdling. He gets the vote ahead of GRANDBAT (1), who finished a respectable second in a Class 3 hurdle at Le Lion-d'Angers in September and has since shown fair form over fences. CALIGRAMME (6) faced a tough task in a Grade 3 chase in October but could fare better back over hurdles. BROOKS (9) fell on his return from a lengthy absence 15 days ago, but if none the worse for that incident, he is worth considering each-way.
