FormscanBy John O'Riordan - The form of the Leopardstown Premier Handicap in which CARRACCI finished runner-up last month has worked out exceptionally well with both the third and fifth horses winning decent races at Galway. The Aidan O'Brien-trained colt lost little in defeat when just going down to a lightly raced young rival on his only subsequent start. Now taking on a field of more exposed older horses with few secrets from the handicapper, the three-year-old stands out. Kings Time, a winner on his handicap debut, is interesting stepping up to a mile for the first time. The Jessica Harrington-trained gelding is bred to appreciate the trip. Zabeir ran well in a similar race to this over course and distance last month, so also merits attention with Colin Keane a significant booking.
An extended handicap for three years old and upwards (95 = 10st)Penalties - (after calculation of the handicap) A winner shall carry 7lb extra for each race won.
