FormscanBy Gary Carson - THE BIG WESTERNER is an exciting prospect over fences this season and gets the vote here on her chase debut. Last season’s Albert Bartlett runner-up ended her campaign on a low note at Fairyhouse, a run that was too bad to be true. She was always likely to flourish over fences, having started off in point-to-points, and this looks like a nice starting point. Coral Cup winner Jimmy Du Seuil is an obvious danger. Willie Mullins’ charge won the competitive handicap hurdle at Cheltenham in fine style and had some very smart form over timber. He’s another nice chase prospect. Jacob’s Ladder was runner-up on his chase debut and could reach the frame again.%0A%0A
