FormscanBy Alan Magee - All of these are reappearing after a summer break. FURY ROAD, penalised for a Grade 1 win over 3m at Leopardstown last Christmas, can give weight and a beating to his three rivals even though this trip might be sharp enough. Possibly flattered by the form of his Aintree second to Ahoy Senor when a couple of high-profile rivals under-performed, his third at Punchestown on his final start as a novice was another solid effort. Albert Bartlett winner Vanillier was third over course and distance on chasing debut at this fixture last year before beating one other finisher in a Grade 2 at Punchestown but proved disappointing thereafter. He was well beaten by Fury Road in that Leopardstown Grade 1 and a 4lb concession might not be enough to turn around the form. Delvino beat a useful rival when landing a Grade 3 at Naas and gets a lot of weight from the selection. Fighter Allen is actually best in at the weights but this will be a much stiffer task than the one he faced when winning at Tramore in the spring.
