The Tom Gibney-trained gelding has been second over course and distance twice and only lost out by a head to Emerald Enigma in a cracking finish here last month. He looks the one to beat now. Joseph O’Brien saddles a couple of newcomers and Dieux Diligence is noteworthy with John Gleeson on board. The Saddex gelding is out of a winning half-sister to a Listed chase winner in France. Andy Slattery also has to be respected in bumpers and French-bred gelding Iron Sword is another to keep an eye on on his racecourse bow.
