FormscanBy Donal Murphy - Sophie Carter got a good tune out of LETS GO CHAMP at Oldtown a fortnight ago, and the pair might be able to follow-up on that success in this long-standing contest. Previously in the care of Henry de Bromhead and the winner of a Grade 3 at the Punchestown festival of 2024, the now 11-year-old clearly retains plenty of ability and should relish the testing conditions. Second and third to a leading Cheltenham contender at Naas last month, Hunters Yarn and Ryehill are the dangers. The Pat Doyle-trained former has won three point-to-points this season and will be ably assisted by Adam Ryan. First time cheekpieces might have the desired effect on the aforementioned Ryehill, while Macs Charm, who was a solid eighth in last year's Thyestes, is the most interesting of the remainder.
