He was outgunned by a length and a-quarter at the business end, but there should be significant improvement to come. Tomavian was only pipped by a head on a promising debut at Down Royal. She didn't really build upon that when fifth in Listowel, but could readily bounce back here. A La Carte was a market springer on debut at Leopardstown in March, but didn't meet expectations in eighth. A big run in this company wouldn't be a surprise. Can't Resist It and Royal Cave both have a shot at prize money.
