Formscan - Mahler Moon found one too strong in a three-runner Exeter affair when attempting to supplement a Huntingdon success earlier in the week and is turned out again quickly. Masterdream's winning spree came to an end at Plumpton and although he's been freshened up, he will need to jump better. SPECIAL JOHN couldn't capitalise on a lower hurdles mark, but he took well to fences prior to that. There was no disgrace in his fifth when sent off favourite at Windsor's Winter Million meeting and he can get back on track in this much less competitive event.
