FormscanBy John O'Riordan - Following a promising introduction to hurdles when second at Cork recently, KILLEANEY BEAR can open his account. The Andrew Slattery-trained gelding jumped and travelled well through that race, keeping on nicely to take minor honours. With the benefit of that experience to call upon, the three-time Flat winner should be good enough to get off the mark over jumps here. Disappointing on his hurdling debut at Killarney in May, the Denis Hogan-trained Tatateo ran much better second time up when finishing third at Punchestown last month. He, too, should be all the better for those initial outings. Barrow Ranger has also shown enough to suggest that he can get involved for Shark and Paddy Hanlon.
