FormscanBy Mark Nunan - SHANTREUSSE chased home recent maiden hurdle winner Ginto on his bumper debut at Navan in February before going one better next time at Clonmel. The 5-year-old starts out over hurdles here for his new connections and looks a good prospect. Mr Fred Rogers was beaten by a 106-rated horse on his hurdles bow at Wexford which wouldn’t be good enough here but he’ll be sharper for the outing and the third has won since. Barbary Master’s mark of 119 is the highest of those with ratings and he should be better for his comeback third at Galway but he looks vulnerable to less exposed rivals. Glen Wyllin was a good third in a winners' bumper at the festival here in April and is another interesting hurdling debutant.
