FormscanBy Michael Graham - Joseph O'Brien's ADELAISE wouldn't be winning out of turn after performing well in excellent handicaps here and in Royal Ascot. She didn't have a clear run at this track in May, but stayed on to be a close third. In Royal Ascot she ran on well to be fourth, beaten by just over a length. She holds a host of Group-race entries. O'Brien has a very strong hand in this race as his Yerwanthere was just a short head behind Adelaise in fifth at Royal Ascot, so has to be respected. She also has an eye-catching list of entries. Mauiewowie has been extensively campaigned over the minimum trip but, with a rating of 99 and Ryan Moore booked, she is interesting on her first crack at 7f. Recent winners Lan Cinnte, Independent Expert, No Niki No and Transcendental are all in there pitching for a share of this big pot.
