FormscanBy Tom Weekes - JASMINE AFFANALIS is a half-sister to her yard’s recent juvenile winner Gavoo and, crucially given a wet forecast, handles easy ground. She met trouble in-running at Limerick in July, with that run coming between two useful runner-up efforts. She is 2lb higher than at Killarney but today’s rider claims 7lb. Shuyak is head-strong and while her form-figures are poor, has shown promise. She met in-running traffic at Down Royal in June and hung badly at Dundalk the following month but was better behaved when ridden from off the pace at Gowran. She can progress stepping up in trip but is unproven on soft. Petite Madame finished second in an ordinary good-ground course-and-distance handicap recently.
