FormscanBy Mark Nunan - A modest maiden on the Flat, CAPTAIN HANLEY made a good start over hurdles when second to the experienced Minella Diamond over a similar trip at Clonmel. The winner franked the form with an easy victory in handicap company on Thursday and the son of Camelot has decent claims in an ordinary contest. Local runner Facile Ocean was a respectable second on hurdling debut here earlier in the month. He takes a slight drop in trip and is a likely contender. Gunnery Sergeant, who reverts from chasing, was runner-up in his last two starts over hurdles which were on softer ground earlier in the year.
