Out of a half-sister to Champion Hurdle winner Binocular, the selection defeated many subsequent winners when scoring at Thurles last season. He disappointed at Aintree subsequently and was short of room when exiting at the opening flight on his recent jumps debut, but was well-supported then and remains promising. Lumiere Du Large was outclassed in both the Triumph Hurdle and at Punchestown last spring and while she had previously shown ability in France, looks vulnerable to smart performers and wears a hood. Splendid Fellow has fair form while first reserve Kazansky would be a notable runner.
