FormscanBy Mark Nunan - MONTESILVANO was fancied on debut at Roscommon and, although only sixth of nine runners, was getting the message late on. It probably wasn’t the strongest of races but Joseph O’Brien’s colt could improve plenty for the experience. His stablemate, the Churchill colt Wartime Warrior, is a debutant to note along with fellow newcomer Quiz Test. Meggy Moo was immature in her early starts but her Fairyhouse fifth was a step in the right direction. Wave Machine has to enter calculations after her third of eighteen over a furlong less at the Curragh. It will be interesting to see how strong Queen Maedbh is in the market. She impressed in a barrier trial at Dundalk last week.
