He was reported by his rider to have hung left in the straight at Punchestown but was beaten by two useful types while the fourth-horse finished second subsequently. Cadoudal Saint won a point-to-point winner on debut for Gerald Quinn last February and again showed nice ability on bumper debut. He represents a yard in amazing form but returns from an 84-day break against an in-form selection. Another point winner Killaney King disappointed in a smart January maiden but previously ran well behind a capable type at Punchestown in December. Walk With Harry won a Punchestown festival bumper last April and ran well in a smart Cork maiden in March but returns from a break having disappointed last Christmas. Freeman Bay finished 3.75 lengths behind Cadoudal Saint during Christmas while The Pooka won a point for Riceal Dunne and has joined a new yard.
