The Dark Angel gelding lost out narrowly on his debut at Galway last summer but hasn’t really run up to that form since. He was a solid enough fourth on his return at Limerick last month and stepping up in trip again now could help. She’s Ideal was also fourth last time, at Cork, having run a big race at Sligo previously. Sadhbh Tormey takes a useful 7lb off in this apprentice race and she’s respected. Recent Roscommon winner Doctor Grace is another for the shortlist.
