FormscanBy Donal Murphy - MARTINSTOWN may have only won by half-a-length on debut at Cork, but he was value for more and is an exciting prospect for connections. The Galileo colt came with a late rattle at the Mallow circuit and the step-up in trip here to a mile-and-a-half will play to his strengths. Flying Dolphin and Vellner were third and fourth in that Cork contest and they have both given the form a boost by winning since. The 103 rated Boundless Ocean gets second preference. He has a course win to his name and had no luck in running when third in the Gallinule Stakes at the Curragh. The Teofilo colt has plenty of experience to his name and should enjoy this step-up in trip. Ger Lyons saddles both Cairde Go Deo and Jezebel Queen, with Colin Keane opting to partner the former. She was an easy winner of the Yeats Stakes on her most recent start at Navan and it'll come as no surprise if she manages to follow-up. River Rain and Inuit are likely to struggle. The latter was a dual winner in France but was very disappointing on his Irish debut at Naas.
