The Karaktar gelding ran well on his racecourse bow when going down by half-a-length to Net Boy in Ballinrobe and the step up in trip helped last time. A mark of 120 doesn’t look harsh and Finn Brickley’s 7lb claim is a help. Kilbuny Supersonic was impressive when also scoring at Wexford on her last start. There is a bit of a question over what she beat then but she couldn’t have done it any easier so commands utmost respect. Derryville wasn’t disgraced in a mares event at Kilbeggan last month and is another to consider.%0A
