Winner of a Downpatrick maiden hurdle last June, the selection was soundly beaten on his January chase debut but stepped forward when finishing second at Gowran. That race’s winner finished fourth in a Cheltenham handicap last week, while other useful rivals were in behind. Kevin’s Pride defeated a dual subsequent-winner to score over hurdles last October but today’s testing going is a concern. Great Attitude landed a right touch at Fairyhouse last year and while better than his Galway festival effort last July, would prefer a sounder surface and lacks race-fitness.
