A line can be put through his latest outing when fifth over 1m as he suffered a less than clear run inside the final furlong. Gobi Star is the highest-rated horse in this contest. He kept on well to be beaten less than a length into fourth in a 6f claimer at this venue at the start of the month and he won twice over this trip in November. The 10-year-old Tai Sing Yeh was a place, and a short head, in front of Gobi Star in third in that aforementioned claimer. He is more than capable of getting involved. It is more than seven years, though, that he won over this trip on an all-weather surface. Money for the once-raced Tipsy Scholars would be more than interesting, while Miqdaad isn't out of it.
