FormscanBy Mark Nunan - BRAHMA BULL was conceding 4lb to Annamix when finishing a neck in front of his stablemate in the Kerry National at Listowel. The pair both performed well under hefty weights when placed behind Assemble and, meeting at level weights today, the selection should be able to confirm the form. The Presenting gelding enjoys good ground and put up a fine weight-carrying performance to win a competitive handicap over course and distance at the Festival in May. Annamix hasn’t managed to add to the victories gained in his first two starts over fences last year but went well in front for a long way at Listowel where he only lost second close home. He has a race fitness edge over Galvin who makes his first appearance since winning the National Hunt Chase at Cheltenham in March. He has an 8lb penalty for that success which will be difficult to overcome but he goes well fresh and a horse with such a good strike-rate will rightly have plenty of supporters.
