FormscanBy Mark Nunan - Plenty to like about WOODROW, drawn next to the rail and with the champion jockey on board. The Ivawood colt, fitted with a first-time tongue-tie, has run perfectly well in his first two starts in handicaps here, and bumped into a well-treated rival when second to Dandy Spirit last time (that one now rated 23lbs higher in total having won again next time). Blast Of Magic was a place behind the selection on that occasion and could be a threat with that having been his first run after a lay-off and being 3lb better off for a couple of lengths. Keepthebestsideout might prefer to be going 6f, over which she won last time, but a top claimer rides and this scopey filly should continue to improve. Pillar has been ultra-consistent here this autumn with a couple of wins over 6f on the board, and is likely to be in the shake-up again despite a wide draw.
