FormscanBy Tom Weekes - NEW BARN LANE was foiled by Petit Dejeuner over course-and-distance last month but might turn form, being 10lb better off for that four-lengths defeat. Both remain a little unexposed and are suited by heavy ground. In-form Pidoyne bumped into a well-handicapped winner at Roscommon in September and while she isn't ahead of the handicapper, ran well in a November course handicap. Johngus hasn't run since April and is a nine-race maiden over hurdles but goes well on testing ground. Duke Otto was well beaten at Cork while Galileo-sired A Great Buzz will surely better her rating in time but is just a four-year-old who will appreciate better ground. Point-to-point winner Folly Master contests his first handicap and might prefer further. The Mass Pass has bits of form on a sound surface while Tipp For Mac fell at the third-last at Cork and had previously shown some handicapping ability. Lightly-raced first reserve Cristiano Marealdo remains unexposed despite being 6lb higher than when winning at 50/1 at Naas recently.
An extended handicap hurdle for three years old and upwards rated 80-102Penalties - Winner of a hurdle race after calculation of the handicap shall carry 7lb extra for each hurdle race won.
