FormscanBy Mark Nunan - Patrick Mullins was on board the winner when Rambling Rose got the better of The Sliding Rock at Ballinrobe last month, and should be in a good position to know what will be required of the newcomer ROBBINIA. The dam of Willie Mullins’ runner is actually a half-sister to The Sliding Rock, both out of Nicky Henderson’s four-time winner Karello Bay. Gordon Elliott’s mare, who finished in between a couple of subsequent maiden hurdle winners when third on debut at Punchestown, showed a good attitude in defeat the last day and sets a healthy standard. A top amateur is booked for Not May, impressive winner of a point-to-point and a good fourth over hurdles at Ballinrobe last time. She’s certainly one to consider as well.
