Formscan By Tom Weekes - THEMANINTHEANORAK ran well in a recent maiden hurdle and should compete in his first handicap today. A useful winner of a same-distance but good-ground Listowel bumper last June, he showed that ability when finishing second to a capable winner over a shorter distance at Clonmel earlier this month. Top weight Apologise has poor recent form figures but scored twice over hurdles last season and likes soft ground. Keen-going On Your Way hasn’t race since winning at Limerick in January and is also suited by testing ground conditions.
An extended handicap hurdle for four years old and upwards (110 = 12st 4lbs)
Penalties - Winner of a hurdle race after calculation of the handicap shall carry 7lb extra for each hurdle race won.
Riders - Confined to Qualified Riders under I.N.H.S. Rules who have not lost the right to claim the 7lb allowance under Rule 52. Allowances - (which are not cumulative, up to and including 17th November).
