Formscan By Alan Magee - CIAO FOR NOW made a pleasing debut at Leopardstown last week and gets the vote to go one better. The Jessica Harrington-trained filly showed pace throughout and didn’t enjoy the clearest of runs in the straight when beating all bar Making Time, With Annie Luck about seven lengths behind, and should be suited by this drop in trip. Kiki Roberts stepped forward from her debut when third at Bellewstown over a mile and it will be interesting to see how she copes back down in distance while Auburn Avenue made an encouraging start in a big field maiden at the Curragh. The market should prove a guide to the relative merits of the newcomers of which Lively Set and Enola Nation may prove the pick.
