The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the home straight involving Charles Fort (GB), ridden by W.M

Lordan, unplaced, Fresh Fade, ridden by J.J.G Ryan, placed sixth and Morehampton, ridden by J.A Heffernan, placed fifth, where it appeared Morehampton had to take a check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned

J.J.G Ryan stated that his mount ran green and became tired. W.M. Lordan stated that his mount was slowing and rolled slightly. J.A. Heffernan stated that he went for a gap which did not develop and had to take a check. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that there was not a gap for Morehampton to go through and were satisfied that no further action was warranted

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Charles Fort (GB), trained by A.P.O'Brien, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be lame on it's left fore

Luke McAteer, rider of Sir Alfie, trained by C.Byrnes, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got slightly tight for room when back peddling. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the report the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted

J.A. Heffernan, rider of Morehampton, trained by J.P. Murtagh, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount had no luck in running and had to take a check.
