The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident approximately two furlongs from the finish involving Mr Seagull, ridden by R. Coakley, unplaced, and Stop The Nation, ridden by J.J.G. Ryan, placed seventh, where it appeared slight contact was made between the two horses. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted
J.A. Heffernan, rider of Chicago Call, trained by J.P. Murtagh, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount received pressure from the right after two furlongs
N.G. McCullagh, rider of Chicago Pope, trained by J.P. Murtagh, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away
K.G. Kennedy, rider of Bofa Beach (GB), trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident after two furlongs involving Chicago Call, ridden by J.A
Heffernan, Brownstown (GB), ridden by G.F. Carroll, and Tahcawin, ridden by R. Whearty, where it appeared Chicago Call suffered slight interference. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. J.A. Heffernan stated that he received pressure from his right. G.F. Carroll stated that he held his line and received a slight bump from behind. R. Whearty stated that he got pressure from his right. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
For two years old only which had been catalogued in the 2024 Goffs Orby Sale (Book 1 or Book 2) and have been declared by Goffs Bloodstock Sales Ltd. as being eligible to enter and run in accordance with the relevant Conditions of Sale. Horses which do not have a registered name and have not been recorded as Racing Active with a Licensed Trainer by Wednesday, 23rd July, 2025 (or if entered from a Foreign Racing Authority named and recorded with a Licensed Trainer) will be automatically struck out of this race. (Please note for un-named horses trained in Ireland which were foaled in Britain or Ireland an acceptable naming application should be made to HRI by Thursday, 17th July, 2025 and for all other un-named horses (horses foaled outside of Ireland & GB), naming forms should be submitted earlier as the naming process will take longer)
